Maintenance of waters
Maintenance of waters is the care for as well as the development of a body of water. Water management authorities and the communities perform measures directly on the body of water with the goal of maintaining the required drainage (flood protection), preserve the near-natural water status and support the ecological development of the body of water.
Classic maintenance measures are e.g. mowing and wood management. The attractiveness of the body of water for the population is another important aspect in the maintenance of urban waters. Ecological reasons frequently call for the use of mowing techniques that enable the clearing and disposal of the grass clippings. Disc mowers as well as a hydraulically movable and adjustable side mowers are available for the DELTRAK. Driving on often dangerously steep embankments is not always necessary with the bar mower system; it is enough to move out and fold down the mower deck on the side. A belt rake or also a hey pusher can move the mowed clippings up where they can be collected without problems.
EVOTRAK and QUATRAK are available with portal and disc mower. An add-on belt rake is also available.
